To my daddy...

by Latasha   Mar 25, 2006

Daddy today at school a boy asked me if I believed in god,
With a smile on my face I said, "Yes."
Just like you wanted me to daddy.
I never realized my answer would cost me my life.

The boy pulled the trigger,
Without thinking twice.
He made me drown in my sea of blood,
As I wonder how he could be so cruel.

But daddy I know I made you proud,
And I forgive this boy,
He made a mistake,
And one day daddy he will pay.

Daddy, whats happening to me?
My voice is going faint,
And I can barely see you any more.
Daddy, I'm getting to weak.

Daddy, I'm going to be with mommy in heaven.
Please tell everyone I will be OK,
And tell sister and brother I love them,
And one day we will meet again,
Just like you told me we would daddy.

**this is about a girl who died because she believed in god...*

This is like nothing I've read on this site before, amazing....and very sad. The intergration of dialogue captures her innocence....nice work
