People like me

by ghastlyshadows   Mar 25, 2006

Hello, I see you
goodnight once again
I sleep with the dreams I cannot put to rest
A bloody rose in you're cold hand
an angel from my nightmare
I'll never be lonely, the dreams are always with me.

Say, do you love?
Can you, can you see?
Something new in the horizon
and island? in a vast sea of corpses?
the loveless, in general, are blind like me.
It is only the simplest blue sky,
A peace that I seek.
through my poetry I bleed, and heal the wound you dealt me.
Do you? Do you love?
Or do you pity the people like me?
For it is our eyes that shape the world, our visions that you see.
We shape the world my friend, and its built against people like me.
Hypocrites I see,
We shape our world against us,
To please the people around us.
