Beauty in Crimson

by ghastlyshadows   Mar 25, 2006

Delicate patterns, shallow and deep.
beauty in crimson from my hands to my feet
This is how I deal with things, pretending there not real
and slowly I get better, at forgetting how it feels
Blood red rivers create dreams
and no one ever hears me,
because quietly I scream
Hidden beauty lies within, and tears will fill these eyes,
Because love is all I want,
and the longing fills this mind.
When the demons scream I cry at night, pretending I'm not sad,
But deep inside I tell myself that this is all I have.
As my heart explodes I'll steal you're life, taking it for mine.
But this time I pretend, and the pain still fills my mind.

Kirstie you have an amazing talent...but reading your poetry makes me feel like you're in a shell. I don't see this when I'm around you. I don't see a hopeless romantic...or a girl filled with so much talent. I see a girl scared as hell of the world...maybe I'm COMPLETELY wrong and honestly I hope I am...you're amazing and you are just sooooo talented...let everyone see this side of you...stop being afraid to share this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This poem is sad...but it's so creative...

So I've been thinking....we should do a collaboration. We could do it through email...It'll be FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love you and be safe!!!! SMILE!!!
