Like Heaven, Like Hell

by myshiningstar14   Mar 25, 2006

Waiting for the phone
to ring is like hell,
What are you thinking,
and do you even miss
me? I can't wait to hold
you, and do you even
see me the way I see
you?

Holding you is like
heaven. With my
hands against your
body, I can't help
but love you more.

Hearing your voice
is like a dream come
true, no one means
as much to me as you.
It's like heaven, like
hell loving you. But
oh baby, how it's
worth it.

Missing you is torture,
I can't stand being
away form you too
long; cause without
you I have no song
left ot sing.

Kissing you is like
paradise. You make
me feel like I am on
top of the world.

Crying and not
having you, is
like hell. I need
you, everyday of
my life.

Seeing you is all
I want. No ones
loves me, like
you do. It's
like heaven, like
hell loveing you.
But oh baby how
it's worth it.

**somtimes being with sumone isnt easy but its all worth it and you wouldnt trade or change your chance with them for the world..**

I agree with both of you. love is about the compassion, but also missing your loved one. yeah, i really like how you compare heaven and hell in this, two completely opposite things, to the comparison of love. that takes real poetic skill. I can relate to this so much...every moment away from her is another moment seemingly wasted...

You compared to very extreme poler opposites in this... the idea of a heaven being manifested as physical touch is not a new concept but it is very accurate when used.... the idea of hell being manifested by the mental pain of missing a loved one goes much deeper then anything...esp. for me because i can really relate to that comparison. right now i'm in love with someone that lives two hours away from me, and it's breaking me not seeing her... sometimes i feel like prolonged times like these can really wear down on your soul.

all in all it's generally easy to relate to.... and when you can get someone to relate to a poem... you know you got something there....
intellegent and subtle are two words for this... excellent art my friend, i give it a five.
