I Love you, and I'm here to stay

She walked up to the guy,
that currently had her heart,
She smiled the biggest smile,
He seemed to erase the fright.

He grabbed her hand,
And led her down the way,
With him standing beside her,
She never wished to go away.

They walked so many miles,
Without getting tired,
as long as they're together,
nothing could bring her higher.

He grasped her in his arms,
and held onto her so tight,
tonight had been a special night,
for she would be alarmed.

He quickly moved her hair,
and whispered in her ear,
the words she wished he'd say,
The words that did bring tears.

She closed her eyes to listen,
to what he had to say,
she smiled when she heard,
"I love you, and Im here to stay"

He took his hand to her face,
a smile is all he could say,
even though she had tears in her eyes,
he kissed her, and wiped the tears.

She looked up at this figure,
And knew they were meant to be,
Wiping the tears away,
She said "I love you, Im glad your here to stay!"
