Letter To a Hero

Dear Hero,
I look in the mirror, and I can see it in my own eyes... in my eyes, I see the one thing I've longed to see; happiness. I'm happy because I have you in my life. I can't tell you; the last time I did, it was true, but you ran away... and I'm living on that strong yet delicate fear that if I say what I want to, you'll be gone again; but this time, forever. I know you think I'm strong, but the very thought of you my my soul go weak. I want to tell you so bad, take the risk... but I just couldn't bare having you leave again. I won't say those words until I know for sure that I won't be hurt again; I know it may not be the right thing to do... but it's something I have to do for me. I want to have you in my life for as long as I have a life to live. You are my best friend and my Hero, and I don't want you to forget that.. EVER!
