The Accident

Right now I'm sitting in a car on my way to see my sister. It's 6 :00 A.M. At 5:30 A.M., my mom, dad, sister, and i passed a car accident. A semi-truck was diagonally across the road, and partially off one end of the road. A minivan was also involved in the accident.
My mom even saw a limp arm dangling from the minivan car window.
Half an hour after we pass this accident would be right now. We stopped at a gas station.
My mom and dad heard something.
Six people died in that accident. Six.
You KNOW the driver of the semi-truck didn't die.
There were kids in that minivan. Im not sure how old and i don't know anything about the accident, as i can't turn on the news for i am sitting in a car, i just drove past it.

I find myself wondering. what if that was my family in that minivan?
we go on a lot of car trips, and it could easily happen to us.
the thought makes you wonder.

life is only as good as the memories we make.
so. take some crazy chances, fight for what you want.
because. people die in the blink of an eye.
you never know.
don't let what you love slip away from you.
take the risk to get it before its gone.
