Darkness Within

Darkness is everywhere
but what is it
do you have to be afraid
or could you live with it

Does it matter if your darkened
or light as can be
is darkness a cloud
that we can seem to be able to see

Is light God
and dark a sin
we all have this darkness
this darkness is "Within"

    Hmm, that really gets me thinking. Oh I like the poem by the way. Now Im just sort of lost in my thoughts. The first stanza is great, the second one is good except the last line is a bit long, possibly shorten it to 'That we cant seem to see,' But thats just a suggestion and the last stanza is great but maybe cut out the 'is' I dont think its neccessary. But I really like it, as I said it got me thinking, and it takes a good poem to do that!
