Angel's Sin

by Laura Ash   Mar 26, 2006

I'm in the middle of the room
With the walls closing in
I say sadly to myself
I'm an angel's sin

I hear the devil's laugh
When I cut my wrist
I hear him laughing harder
When I ball my hands into a fist

I can hear god sighing
When I take a knife or blade
I know it doesn't show
But I really am afraid

Of what happens after life
I'll live awhile and will always be dead
I break down crying
When I hear voices in my head

God I'm so sorry
For every bad things
I'll do anything
To again hear the angels sing

I left the middle of the room
The walls stopped closing in
God please tell me
I'm no longer and angel's sin

This poems means the most to me out of all my poems. People think about it. What's the point in being mean for 70, 80 years to get punished forever when you can be nice for 70, 80 years to be rewarded forever?

You're very right about living life as a nice person. I think your poem is awesome and it's cool that you can have inspiration to write such touching poems at this point in your life. Great job! 5/5
