I Love You Baby

by Joanna Landeros   Mar 26, 2006

"I love you baby," that's what you said, but when I called you a girl answered instead.
You cheated on me and I tried to act as if I was ok, but deep down inside I was hurting.
I was missing your laugh,
Missing your presence,
I was missing YOU
So, I tried getting you back,
I tried to make you jealous
But in the end I realized you're not worth it.
You're not worth my tears
You weren't worth the lies
And it wasn't worth getting my heart broken over.
"I love you baby," that's what you said, but I think you really meant "This is the end."

When I read this poem it makes me cry, just remember how much pain I went through.
