The Divine

by tytianna   Mar 26, 2006

Hidden in this world, a buried treasure
To find it perfection, a confident brings pleasure
Encircled by crooked fingers,
Taunting grins linger,
From face to face,
Tears of disgrace,
Descend from the sky
Draining to weak to cry,
To strong to stand alone
The demons in man's mind are heart-breaking, soul fear-taking, devouring, empowering
Can you not feel it? Or am i the only one that senses this condition of solitary confinement
the pain, i hide it,
weakness, i rather not side with
so i fight it,
"Like a soldier behind enemy lines,"
Slogan i use to define,
The world and i,
Longing to cry,
Pleading to die,
Seventeen but in the stage of a toddler asking why?
Answers i try, to pry ,
From the only Divine
Not a world of this kind,
The only place i belong,
Til then i'll try to remain strong,
sanity hold on,
Til the glorious day my life will
No longer prolong
Hand in hand with Christ my home,
No longer alone
Just me and "The Divine"...
