Fear

by Joker   Mar 27, 2006

I felt something come through my body and soul.
The feeling was black, evil, and cold.
My heart all of a sudden came to a halt.
Wondering what happened, I realize that it wasn't my fault.
All around this quiet place.
You see the fear on my face.
The presence is felt, here, there, and everywhere.
I act and pretend that I don't care.
There was a voice that whispered into my ear.
Strange as it sounds, I was the only one here.
Almost on the brink of insanity, I finally see the reality,
That I am not alone or scared, this is my key.
You can't lie about how you feel, There is no need to act, because this is real.
Instead of feeling sad or mad, I feel safe, happy, and glad.
The presence is not here to harm.
I know it, because I feel the cold on my hand and arm.
"There is nothing to fear, I will always be here, my dear."
