Loneliness

by Rebecca Soo   Mar 27, 2006

As morning arouses,
I went for a walk.
As lonely as I've always been
Strolling all alone.
All at once,
I saw a crowd.
Sad thoughts and feelings...
Slowly fading away as happiness came by.
A host of golden daffodils
Unfold across the field.
I ran down hurriedly
Towards the beautiful flowers.
I found out that I was never alone after all,
Knowing that there are people who still care for me.
And they're like the beautiful daffodils
All over the field surrounding me.
