Happy birthday mum!

by Rebecca Soo   Mar 27, 2006

I still remember the time we were caught
In the nasty drought.
You lifted me up whenever I fall,
And you were always patient to hear my call.

When we were drenched
In the sombre cold rain,
You were there for me as a shelter
And you would cuddle me when I shudder.

I always thought the future was out of reach,
Yet you always helped me to reach it throughout my life.
With your love for me you built the bridge,
Where the both of us could go through to a brand new life.

As time passes us day by day,
Everyone will eventually get older.
As today is you special day
To me, you always look as young as ever.

Nothing in you
Would ever change.
And so my love for you
Will always be the same.
