X Human Crime

by Sole   Mar 27, 2006

The trees are falling
And the seas are turning black
The ecosystem's stalling
But there is no looking back

The forest's burning
And the sky's no longer clear
But we're never learning
Just killing the atmosphere

Fumes cover the skies
From scientific use
More like scientific lies
And scientific abuse

Take your time
Have you checked?
Against the Earth a crime
As all it's beauty is wrecked.

Another wonderful poem, a great insight into the destructive habits of humans...although it seems unfinished, like it hasnt quite got where its headed...

That was great with the message it was conveying. The imagery intense. Flow good. This was just really good for what it had in their. Really liked this one because it managed to capture that aspect far better than others I've seen.

Nice use of the rhetorical question. You certainly are not a one-trick pony...is there anything you cant do?

    "Take your time
    Have you checked?"

This says it all....I hope it makes a difference if not, it made a difference to me....
