To My Friends

Have you ever felt like you were completely alone
I felt that way everytime I was home
My parents finally gave up on me and shipped me out here
It's because of this place that I have no fear
For the first time I feel like I'm where I belong
I've found friends now I sing a different song
I have good friends one of them is a hippie named Chrissy
There is something about her that turns a bad day into yippy
Then there is Brittany she is as fun as it can get
We have had lots of good times and no real bad times yet
Then you have Matt the know it all husler with many names
When I hang out with him even work becomes fun, and games
Then there is Amanda, Dale, Ashley and James.
Thats not all I only dropped a few names
But by know I have made my point
I've got to be the luckiest SOB in this Marquette joint
I've have had some times where it has been real rough
But it's because of my friends that I can stand tough
So to my friends I say thanks where ever you are
I know if I need you you're never to far
