Never ending

I sit aside to conquer my stride.
everyone working, I'm the only one lurking.
wandering around in this dream looking for some place to hide.

a never ending tragedy
a never ending life.

You told me it would be OK.
You said only for today
but now you say it's the only way.
what does that mean?

I can't believe i went out.
went out of my shell
it was only to propell
a new stranger, a new me.
You can never ever tell.
tell the things that remain or
the things that only pertain
the fact of an old life.

a chanting scream echoes through my ears.
it's been happening all these years.
Why?
why is it like this?
