Once again
the darkness of those days become vivid
soaring through that bottomless pit
once again trying to get away
the knowledge a darker source
has forever vindicated your soul
vulnerable to such evil
constricts the heart like no other
but thus a kiss
such a kiss the dark angle gives
retreating from the kiss is sure death
but allowing the offering to be received
words for such tragedy would be ominous
light will soon triumph
for that is the way of this world
always there will be darkness
crossroads appear to confuse the mind
