Only Four

by emma   Mar 28, 2006

A young girl, in the room she sat
aged around 4, if that

she is not at home, her parents have gone out
at her babysitters she is, missing her mum without a doubt

the husband of the lady, that looks after her
takes her to his chair, sits her on his knee as she squirms

a fidgety little 4 year old, moving on his knee
how can he do what he wants to, when his wife is there to see

he touches her in a place, an old man shouldn't touch
the little girl, she did not like this much

in her head, she knows this isn't right
though only 4, she is very bright

she wriggles off his leg, and runs away
hoping that he isn't saving anymore, for another day

later that night, they watch their favorite show on the telly
he is laying on the bed, she is laying on his tummy

her worst nightmare again came true
and she didn't no what to do

she squirmed away, yet again
she knew not ever to get close to him, cos he'd do it again

ever since then and to this day, she has lived with the shame
that, that old man molested her that day.
