Trapped

Walk beside me,
Please hold my hand.
If I falter or stumble,
I know you will understand.

I try my best each day,
To be the best person I can be.
Though I am not perfect,
And I'm sure that you'll agree.

Each step is a journey,
On life's secret path.
Fate has been mapped for us,
Each day a new task.

One step in front of the other,
Thats all I can ask.
Don't set goals to high,
I will complete the task.

For some its so easy,
To handle life every day.
Not a care in the world,
Going along their own way.

Living with anxiety,
Some don't have a clue.
Is like a prison sentence,
For all that I do.

Palms all sweaty,
Palpitations in my heart.
Feelings of being trapped,
Panic attack about to start.

Once it takes over,
Can't see a way out.
Ride the wave or terror,
If you have to, scream and shout.

Once it is over,
Panic has come to an end.
Try to life a normal life,
Until it happens again.
