Through all the pain and sorrow,
You have been there for me.
You showed me there's always tommorrow,
And to look at the great things life can be.
You helped me through everything,
And I know I helped you too.
And most of the good things that happened this year,
I owe them all to you.
Though we were the best of friends,
And we know we'll always be,
And though we wanted to be together so bad,
It just wasn't meant for me.
