The Seven Colors of Fire

by Heather M Craig   Mar 28, 2006

The devil works with great pride
deprived of poise and grace.
His eyes burn with uncontrolled wrath,
his icy heart thrums with a broken pace.

By indulging in the innocent and unaware,
he feeds an unfortunate desire,
Glistening, as their bodies burn
the seven colors of fire.

I can see the different forms in which fire takes but i fail to envision color, since that's what i was interpreting your title as. i enjoyed the interpretation of how the devil preys on the vulnerable but i wish i could envison more color and sound effect in your words. overall, great write. your gifted. lots of love and peace. take care.

To me it just says that the devil feeds off innocent people, which is a good interpretation of what the devil could be.

I think of it in simple terms you have one road to god its very narrow you fall of it you either catch your self or let the devil promise hell catch except he doesnt and lets you fall you were innocent and now your not and your burning in hell with him the seven colors of fire the seven deadly sins because you realize you wanted to fall in the first because you were tired of walking the same path
    Take care
