Drifting winds on solemn summer meadows
Distant sounds that fade up to the sky
Summers sunrays gently touch your body
Summer breezes sooth and dry your eye

Warming breaths upon your fading splendour
Warming kisses oâ??er your lips and chin
Summers sunrays gently touch your body
And illuminate the hollow dark within

Whispers in the light of slowly setting sunrays
Shadows come to play in rising night
Straws of grass that slowly touch your hand
The lights of yesterday, which shined so bright

Shadows come to play in rising nightfall
Sorrows come to dance upon your smile
Blazing, scorching, red young lips alight
The ones that comfort me but only for a while

And though the hollow of you endless soulâ??s
Outshone by glowing green and hazel eyes
The unfilled echo of your voiceâ??s tone
That echo carries no disguise

And meadowâ??s sweet and blooming stand
And crickets lull me into sleep
Outshone by glowing green and hazel eyes
I dream of them whenever Iâ??m asleep

And empty smile and empty laugher echo
May comfort me, but only for a while
Alas the ease of pain you rarely bring
Lasts only as I see your hollow smile

And as I lie here in the low, descending dark
And listen to your slow and rhythmic breaths
I swear and solemnly, yet bitterly regret
The void within you reaches so deep depths
