Shiver

by emiLy A.   Mar 29, 2006

Clouds consume the sun
Your hate consumes my love
Darkness swallows daylight
And the neons will overpower starry nights
The blood flowing through me is cursed
It has an unquenchable thirst
For cancerous cells and diseases alike
There's not enough goodness in me to bleed it all out and regain my sight
Counting on substance
To keep me alive
My mind in a trance to help me survive.
