This exposes the harsh reality behind the ballerina's danity shoes and graceful figures.... |

So beautiful - and yet so sad. I really feel for the people who feel they have to turn Anorexic to be any good at Ballet. Your words were expressed expertly. Great poem. |

A very good descriptive poem, the imagery was fantastic, I especially liked the last verse, it created a good impact and summed up the whole poem - great! |

Oh Gosh Nikki like you it would kill me to see that of my friends...it would kill me to know how they feel about their body, what they do..then let alone them not being able to do their dream because of it! I know you believe in God and its people like them we have to pray for! Wonderful write I loved this and the title! |

It's scary sometimes what people will do to make their dreams come true. Let your friends know that they can be healthy and still do ballet. And try not to worry too much. It's not good for your health. I'll pray for them-and you. Amazing poem, by the way, if I didn't say that already. |
This was a great poem, beautifully expressed. although it's sad about your friends, i hope they do realize they dont have to be THAT thin. anyway this is one of my favorite poems... |
