"Is your name LOVE?"

by J Avery Johnson   Jan 27, 2004

Even in the darkness of a thunderstorm, your smile shines bright
more beautiful than a mahogany sunrise or a dove in mid flight
your essence, your style, your grace, compliments to your beauty
to have and to hold, if only that were my duty
like poetry in motion, you're a picture worth a million words
the art of a woman stifled by whispered verbs
don't change, for perfection shall not be perfected
you and all you are, surely, I stand corrected

as sweet melodies are sang by angels high above
soft screams 2 a simple heart ask
IS YOUR NAME LOVE
