*This is an older poem of mine that I wrote last year but I wanted to put it on the site...

I won't allow you to hold my hand
or walk me to my class
I won't allow you to understand
every question that I ask

I won't stare at you as you walk
or fantasize every day
I won't listen intensely as you talk
or wish you'd look my way

I won't crave to see your smile
when I'm depressed or feeling down
I won't always go the extra mile
to make sure you stay around

I won't fall for your seductive tricks
or remember the things you do
I won't allow feelings and conflicts
because I refuse to fall for you
