Your eyes are Everywhere

by Antonâ„¢   Mar 29, 2006

As the moon glitters in the shallow lake
The flowers dances their leaves all break
The calmness of the cool night water
I could feel love everywhere

I hear the sounds of crickets
The burning fireflies pass me by
And a soft tender breeze,
Caresses my hair

That night was not like any other night
For in my mind were beautiful memories
I imagine you eyes, glittering
Like the moon and its beautiful stars

I could see your face in the sky
Smiling back at me, smiling smiling
If only you could be here with me
But now your already gone

My life has been this empty
Since you were gone
It's like a vast desert
So barren, no life can be found

But I could still see your eyes
And your smile of course
I could still feel your presence
I know that you also wouldn't let go

But it's time that we depart
You are on your own now
But I'll never forget you
My love for you is eternal

AWESOME!!!!! The power of your words painted pictures in my head. The contrast from lakeside to the dessert images tell it all. Very very well written. This is definetly one of the better poems I have read in a while
