Outcast

by мσяιтυяαм   Mar 29, 2006

Im Just another girl
a face in a crowd
Screaming but no one can hear me
No matter how loud
why can't they accept me?

They all whisper as I walk along the corridor,
I try to pretend that I cant hear
all this pointing and staring
my eyes uncontrollably start to tear.
Why can't they accept me?

I am an outcast
and I am ignored by most.
Sometimes I get beaten up
or tied to a post
Why can't they accept me?

If I were to run a razor
Along my pale fragile wrist
And drop dead right now
I know I would not be missed
Why can't they accept me?

But then I met you
One school day in the corridor
You picked up my books
That they had thrown on the floor
Why can't they accept me?

You held out your hand
And helped me off the ground
"Hey dude why are you helping her?"
People laughed all around
Why can't they accept me?

But you don't listen
You don't care
You plant a soft kiss on my lips
Acting like nobody's there
You accepted me.

Ignorance is the reason why people can't accept others who are different from them. Some people will always be ignorant (I feel sorry for them) and Some people will mature and blossom (they will look back to the past on how they acted and be ashamed of themselves) You'll see... it always turns out that way. =)
