Better On Your Own

by Rosie   Mar 29, 2006

Unaffected by the poison
the young teen sobs
falls to the ground..
while her tiny wrist throbs
blood gushes into sight
all her thoughts of pure delight
are now completely gone
and so is the picture of death
that she had recently drawn
yes its true her heart was stolen
by a selfish unloving man
don't let a man take your heart
for it will only be broken
keep your heart for yourself
pretend like its a gold token
don't fall in love
for love doesn't exist
you have only tripped on a stone
i promise its better to be alone
