And i could've sworn you looked back at me and smiled,
but you didn't.
and i could've sworn you were writing me a note,
like you used to,
but you were just drawing.
and i watched you the whole class period,
thinking you'd look back at me,
and everything would be OK between us,
but you didn't.
maybe if you just would've looked at me,
just once,
i wouldn't feel this pain.
maybe if i didn't get my hopes so high,
i wouldn't be so sad all the time.
maybe if i never loved you...
i would finally be happy.

to un-do
