This is an amazing piece.The imagery you use is so unique and the use of language simply superb.It so captures the despair we sometimes feel as we age, of a body that seems to be older than the youthful soul within.I really love the twist that it is not a mirror/reflection and yet in a way it is, the ending stanza is amazing.But do not sink into despair, for life and mortality go hand in hand and life is too short to not strive for happiness.I feel the sadness and loss.But age has it's good points;everyone has been young before, but not everyone has been old before(and I'm not saying your old,lol), and it has it's own rewards if you look for them.In life it is not the destination, but the journey that matters.
