What happened to us
its like things got careless
we were best friends in elementary
and now things have gone so badly

things changed in middle school
when all you wanted to be was cool
some how we drifted apart
it was like it was doomed at the start

you kept saying I'm not going to be your friend
but now it has come to an end
you look at me now
as if you don't know how
to find those words

you lied to me too often
and now you are someone
