Forsaken

by Hannah   Mar 30, 2006

Lost in battle within myself
Of dyer stupidity I must confess.
Life has lost it's stealth
And things that glitter are worth less

So forth I am a pitying fool
One who is stuck in a rut of denial
To treat my brain as a tool
Whilst ruining my life all the while.

If a gamut is a whole range of emotion
Then I am playing a monotonous role
Screwing my own life's devotion
Into a treacherous hole.

Tomorrow does not ring promise
Nor do I care
This life has gone amiss
And it's more than I can bare.
