My last moments

As I sit here in bed
im surrounded by the red.

My life fading away
it was the only way.

I had no other choice but death
and as I struggle for my last breath

My memories start to invade.
But at the same time my life fades

And as I die in my home
theres no one to save me because im alone.

My skin is no longer warm, but cold.
I try to recall what I was told

But nothing comes back to my mind
I'm almost gone now, leaving everything behind.

As my eyes cry their last tears
I know im leaving behind all my fears.
