Memories

The memories of you and me
haunt me every time
i see your face or hear your name
but its not you to blame
i think to much and try to hard
that i already learned, it was hard
so you never liked me more than a friend
i guess thats fine with me, maybe
you got my hope high and
slowly watched them die
but I'm strong and will never cry
no matter what you or me do
i hurt inside more because of you
and because of memories, of you and me
from when we were good friends in school
and i don't know what to do
I'm lost in a world unseen
because on those happy memories
