It's the times we shared together
That seem to last in my heart forever
The days go by and us there no more
But to a good friendship you just shut the door.
We had our rough times and good ones to.
No longer in our friendship do i have anything to lose.
It's when i walk by the first place we met
That fire in my heart it set.
The tears come down when i think back
To our promises that was our pack.
Still i care sadly i always will
Because at least a friend i wish i could be still.
Our summers spent together were always the best.
And when i look at you i don't think anything less
I still see the guy from years ago
But to the world that guy he doesn't want to show.
I try over and over to say good bye
But then i think back and start to cry.
You've always been there for me.
I just wish you didn't have to leave.
I understand the choice you made
But for my mistake i wish you forgave.
You may have let go to everything we ever shared
