I came here to school
it was the first day
i was so nervous
but you said it would be okay
you were also new here
and we didn't know where to go
but then i went to study hall
you asked me to sit down, how could i say no?
you were so open
such a great friend
we were talking the whole time
i was hoping the time would never end
but of course it had to
and we went to our separate ways
i was counting down the time
i was in a gaze
i got to my next class
you came and sat next to me
i was so happy
i was thinking how could this be?
i knew i would like it here at this new school
i would look forward to each new day
waiting for the right classes
when i get to see you and you make me feel a special way
