Dying inside

I've hid the pain long enough,

the skin I cut just keeps getting tough.

Wanting everything to be OK,

But you just keep walking away.

Hiding it more day by day,

knowing I will never have it my way.

Just seeing you makes my heart pound,

it makes the earth stop spinning around.

But you don't care,and now I see,

I'll have to set my own soul free.

My heart is gashed forever now,

Love again it won't allow.

My lifeless body lie on the ground,

never again to be found.
