Something i never finished

As i sleep in my bed
I slowly start to fade
In the darkest depths of my mind
is where my conscious lay

I see a tiny light
in an endless dark
hoping to reach the shining star
A journey i start to embark

The closer i try to get
the farther i slip away
As this light gets dimmer
it tells me this is where i stay

As i lose all hope
I slowly accept my fate
hoping soon someone will come
before it becomes to late...
