Try to understand me
Read the dictionary of my soul
Look into my heart
Don't let your mind take control

See the pain within me
When I'm standing there by you
I may be smiling
But inside I'm feeling blue

Make me feel wanted
And never patronise
Stop protecting me
Stop hiding the truth behind your lies

Turn around and face me
Stop blocking me behind your back
Recognise your power
Before my world turns black
