My angel wings are here to stay
I've been assured they'll never stray
Until the day you pass away
And leave me crying
Angel tears

My angel wings have returned
Though a little damaged, scorched and burned
From that fateful day you turned
And left me crying
Angel tears

My angel wings I'll give to you
You make me smile when I feel blue
Everyday you help me through
And stop me crying
Angel tears

    Such an amazing write.... So full of emotions. The way you ended each paragraph reminded me a lot of how Robert frost did his one poem "The road not taken" It was an all around excellent write!

    I loved the repetition of angel tears. I might send this one to one of my friends, though, because whenever we have problems I feel like crying "angel tears" I can't say more than you already know because I don't want to repeate myself but I think this is my new fave.
