Her Picture

I am looking at her picture
and it brings me to tears
I wish that I could help her
Or take away her fears

I can tell that she is depressed
Her eyes are staring empty
Her cute smile is long gone
And I can't believe what I see

This girl was once happy
Not a care in the world
But something changed that
Some one hurt this little girl

Years ago she was raped
By some one she knew well
He took her innocence and life
He brought to her this hell

After that one painful night
She was never the same
She kept it a deep secret
And never spoke his name

Her picture explains it all
Just take one look at her arm
Cause when it got too much
She turned to self-harm

Her scars are a reminder
Of her miserable life
And I was by her side
When she used her knife

I hide away her picture
Cause the girl I see
Will always have a blank stare
I know...Because the girl is me

    Oh, I know exactly how you feel.I was raped two years ago by my best friend.And ignore it when people say "I hope you can forget it"Because you can't it is impossible to forget something that painful.Even after two years I can't sleep well.And even worse I don't believe in Abortions,but my mother forced me to get one,to me its like murdering.I hope in time you can accept whats happened and live a happy life.My words probably wont help much but It is worth a try.
