Just Me and The Rain

by Jewelz   Apr 1, 2006

Rain drops stream down myafec as I watchthe lighting flash across the sky,

Pitter,Patter,
Pittier,Patter,
the rain sings to me,

Thunder arising
and finally a crack.

Standing ther alone
with no one else to care,
Just Me and The Rain.

In peace I am as the rain seems to kiss my lips,

A freespirit,
Singing,
Dancing,
for the few moments
the world is still,

Just Me, and The Rain

Very nice. i love the thought behind it. and it is a unique write. the only thing i would say is to capture more of the feeling you are trying to convey. the judgement part at the end seems to come out of nowhere. but i like that it is there. maybe add a little more to that effect. ...oh yeah. you use the word rain a lot, which i think sort of takes away from the poem. maybe use another word for it. but its not really nessacary sometimes repetition is good. keep it up
