You Let Me Go

You stitched up my wounds.
Heals my broken heart.
Re-assembled my life
When it fell apart.

But I really need you now
Please don't let me go.
I'm fading away
Didn't you know?

You're not holding me tight enough
I'm about to slip.
You're letting me go.
I'm losing your grip

Then you let my hand go
And whisper goodbye
You say I'll be ok
And that I shouldn't cry.

I see you turn
You slowly walk away.
"I love you."
Are the only words I can say.

I stand there motionless
As tears begin to fall.
But the worst part is,
You don't care at all.

So...I wrote this a while ago. Its not one of my best...but I decided to post it anyway.
