She was gently awakened by the pale light..
She did not recognize this horrible black place.
Had she only been lying here in pain for one night?
Rapidly, her heart began to pace..
She nervously glanced around the enclosed room..
Desperately praying to remember the past,
But her memory would simply not bloom..
She was still unable to recall where she had been last..
For what reason was she present in this unfamiliar place?
Had she done something horribly wrong?
She seeked answers to this case,
But judging by the weakness of her body, she knew she did not have long..
Suddenly, she drew her attention to an ominous shadow
Slowly approaching her imprisoned body..
Fear had regained itself, and hope had run shallow
She violently screamed for someone.. Anybody.
Consumed by vulnerability,
She felt cold hands grasp her throat
To fight back, she did not have the ability.
She was trapped below this terrifying coat..
She could only ask Why?
What had she done to deserve this pain?
He did not listen, did not even try..
Her life, she knew, she could never regain..
Still, she has not known the reasons Why he had taken her life that cold misty night.
