I Lie Alone

I lie alone and forgotten
On the bathroom floor
Cut and broken
Just like before
I thought you’d come to save me
For exasperation I sighed
But no you weren’t there
Where were you as I cried?
My mascara so run
Like the blood across the floor
Clawing the wall
I screamed no more
Just like that my heart stopped
First time since the start
I died in a horrible way
Of a broken heart
