The pain is getting harder to deal with day by day
you always make me miserable in your cruel and hateful way
the tears never come when you're around
I go home and cry so you cant hear a sound
your opinion of me has crushed my soul
without love I am no longer whole
I hide my pain behind a mask
I tell no one because no one asks
no one cares about whats inside
and no one cares why I hide
they criticize my behavior and the way i dress
and it was solely you who has created this mess
I had tried so hard to ignore it
but my pain, you seem to enjoy it
when you see me, the smile upon your face
with the way I feel would seem out of place
but you don't seem to care
if my sanity remains there
or if I'm losing my mind
because of you Ive been left behind
to fall in the shadows of her grace
