Final Sunset

by Colby   Apr 2, 2006

The broken rays pierce the autumn leaves
The golden aurora warms the unending breeze
The scattered clouds burn with brilliant colors
Each one is so much different than the others

I stare so long I get lost in a dream
It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
My thoughts soar through endless possibilities
This is artwork of wondrous abilities

But it comes in a dash
And dies so fast
It reminds of my debt
To that minute sunset
