Candle of my heart

Many times the candle of my heart burns out.
can love not be a part of me?
over times it will burn so bright, but then flicker slowly fading.
wanting love that is not received.
so the candle disappears.
confused is it true love or just wanting to love someone?
why cant my candle stay bright.
not knowing their feelings, but in a way wanting them to know yours.
my candle flickers as it starts to doubt the love returned. and slowly fades out, hurting and burning.
another candle gone.
